Scope & Sequence:

A Liberal Arts Curriculum

The Classical Magnet School offers a rigorous curriculum designed to prepare students for success at a competitive four-year liberal arts college.

Students are required to take the 5 core Classical courses each year:

  • Latin

  • Science
  • Mathematics

In addition, students complete courses in:

  • Art
  • Music
  • Drama

Our integrated curriculum utilizes the Paideia method of instruction which emphasizes active student learning. Classical teachers serve as coaches as students work cooperatively on intellectual projects and engage in seminars around authentic text.
